| Bio: | This is a spot where I, remaining anonymous, discuss the experiences of a person who grew up in a minority Christian religion and now finds himself with more questions than answers. I welcome anyone with similar experiences to enter into this discussion with me. I'm mid-30's, raised in church and educated in church schools, generally indoctrinated but unwilling to give up my ability to critically analyze those ideas promulgated by those of influence over me. So now I am isolated to a degree, occasionally finding people of like mind, but mostly uncomfortable with being public about where I stand. So here I will write, hiding behind the anonymity of this journal. If you have thoughts or experiences to add to the discussion, they are welcomed and invited. |
